Chad Reilly is owner and Director of Absolute Physical Therapy Inc. located in North Phoenix . Chad graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Exercise Science in 1996 and completed his Masters in Physical Therapy in 1999. Chad founded his North Phoenix facility in 1999 and began in the rehabilitation of adult and pediatric orthopedic and neurological conditions. Services have since expanded to include specialized physical therapy for pediatric sport & recreation injuries. Chad has acquired specialized knowledge in treatment and protocol development for tendinitis and related overuse injuries. The application of therapeutic exercise to restore function is Chad ’s primary treatment approach. He also has extensive experience in the use of soft tissue mobilization and manual therapy for pain reduction and restoration of range of motion. Chad ’s patient care methods rely on a well developed understanding of biomechanics as well as an appreciation of his patient’s requirements to return to a pre-injury performance level. This, coupled with his functional approach to rehabilitation, distinguish him from other physical therapy providers. As his practice has grown, Chad has maintained his commitment to quality patient care, largely accomplished through maximal one-on-one time shared between therapist and patient. This permits for immediate adjustment of programs as needs arise to best suit specific rehabilitation goals. Such regular, individualized attention allows for greater therapeutic effectiveness, increased patient satisfaction, and has been a preferable facility characteristic noted by referring physicians. Chad also serves as a faculty member at Paradise Valley Community College . Here he instructs Lifetime Fitness courses and designs exercise and rehabilitation programs for students and fitness center members with various orthopedic injuries and competitive performance goals. He frequently delivers lectures for community and fitness center members at PVCC on topics including weight training for prevention of knee and back injuries and for improvement of golf performance. Patients value his availability at the fitness center on Saturdays, as they are able to receive continued guidance in their post release exercise programs. Prior to his Physical Therapy education, Chad participated in competitive bodybuilding and, while at NAU, competed for the college weightlifting team. He was awarded medals in many competitions including gold medals in the Grand Canyon State Games and the AWA National Championships in 1998. Chad has also earned certification as a USA Weightlifting Club Coach. In addition to weightlifting, Chad’s current physical interests include mountain biking, rock climbing, snowboarding and competitive combat shooting.
